There are still places available for the start dates of October 1 or November 1, 2026. The Voluntary Social Year at a School is offered by the Brandenburg Association for Cultural Education for Children and Young People (lkj Brandenburg). Your placement will be at a school in Brandenburg.
During your voluntary year, you will get to know everyday school life from a new perspective, support children and young people, and gain practical experience in the educational field. You will have the opportunity to try things out and find out whether working in a school environment is right for you.
The Voluntary Social Year at a School also offers you an excellent opportunity to prepare for a future degree in education and to decide whether a career in education is the right path for you.
