Friends of the Brandenburg State Police Orchestra

The Brandenburg State Police Orchestra is the professional wind orchestra of the police and a cultural ambassador for the state. Around 45 musicians present a wide-ranging repertoire - from classical music and film scores to jazz and modern entertainment. Throughout Brandenburg, the orchestra performs at concerts, commemorative events, school appearances, and charity concerts. Alongside musical excellence, social engagement is a central focus, particularly through prevention projects and educational outreach. 

Chamber Academy Potsdam

The Chamber Academy Potsdam is the resident orchestra of the Nikolaisaal and serves as a cultural ambassador for the city and the state of Brandenburg. Since 2000, it has been one of Germany’s leading chamber orchestras. With diverse concert series, the Potsdam Winter Opera, international guest performances, and a broad repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, it captivates audiences of all ages - both live and on renowned recordings.

Frankfurt Oder

The Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt (Oder) is a traditional symphony orchestra with a history spanning more than 175 years. Founded in 1842 as a municipal orchestra, it developed over time into an important musical institution in Brandenburg and beyond. Its musical home is the Kleist Forum in Frankfurt (Oder), from where the orchestra presents a diverse and varied program. The State Orchestra places particular emphasis on music education: through school projects, family concerts, and interactive formats, it inspires people of all ages and brings classical music into the heart of society.
