Churches and
local communities

Churches, municipalities, and local communities offer lots of ways to get involved and make a real difference. Here, people come first. Whether it’s helping out with social projects, working with kids and teens, supporting cultural events, or pitching in with everyday community life, volunteers see the impact of their work firsthand.

The tasks are varied, hands-on, and great for building a sense of community. If you’re looking to contribute socially, creatively, or with your organizational skills, you’ll find a meaningful role full of purpose and new experiences.

Your chance to get involved!

Gemeinde Wusterhausen Dosse

The youth office “Ma Kieken” is the central hub for children and young people in Wusterhausen Dosse, Ostprignitz-Ruppin. Led by the city’s children and youth coordinator, it offers advice, leisure activities, project work, and space for young people to get involved.

Located right in the heart of town, at the market square, the youth office is an open meeting place where ideas can be developed, questions asked, and the future shaped together.

“Ma Kieken” stands for listening, participating, and being part of the community – staying close to the topics and needs that matter most to young people.

Kirche Alttöplitz

The Evangelical Parish of Alttöplitz is a lively part of the local community, centered on faith, togetherness, and caring for others. Besides regular services in the historic village church, the parish offers lots of activities for all ages – from music events and discussion groups to youth programs and seasonal celebrations. As an open and welcoming community, Alttöplitz is also involved with neighboring parishes and provides a space for meeting, reflecting, and exploring faith together in everyday life.

Kirchengemeinde
Neuzelle

The Neuzelle Parish is a lively community in the heart of a culturally rich region. Rooted in the history of the Cistercian Monastery, it’s all about openness, active faith, and community life. People of all ages are welcome to connect, reflect, and get involved in our services, programs, and projects. A big highlight is our year-round events: from music-filled services and concerts in the baroque monastery church, to discussion evenings, kids and youth activities, and ecumenical celebrations.
