My voluntary service

During my volunteer service at the Fontane Festival, I met many inspiring people and gained valuable experience in project and cultural management, the organization, preparation, and delivery of events and festivals, and in collaborating with artists, authors, and publishers. I was also responsible for public relations work in the office, where I could fully express my creativity.

My book project

At the Fontane Festival, your own project ideas are very welcome, which gave me the chance to make a long-held dream come true: publishing my own book. I had been writing poems for several years and really wanted to see them published in a book. I was supported by a teacher from my former school who read my texts and gave me valuable feedback - a big thank you for that!

My support

After that, I teamed up with friends and people I knew from Brandenburg and Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania to turn it into a bigger project. Together, we worked on the texts, the layout, and the financing, and organized an event where we presented the book and read from it. This way, not only my own dream came true, but also the dreams of everyone involved - and now anyone who wants to can read my book.
